We Need Your Ideas

As of November 2007 , the association celebrates its 8th year with this web site.  We still want to hear from you about ideas, services, or products that you or other members might be interested in seeing.

Obviously we are a non-profit association, and our members provide all of their time for FREE to maintain the membership, perform accounting duties, design/maintain the web site, answer emails, and take care of other related tasks.  All money we receive is used to support the association expenses, and no money is used for salaries or other purposes.  Even so, it still costs us money for mailings, materials, web hosting/email, and miscellaneous items.  Fortunately, it does not take much, but we still need to raise some funds regularly to continue.  This is not a government supported web site.

Donations are always welcome, but we really want to provide something useful in return to our comrade pilots, maintenance personnel, veterans, and others that support our web presence with their contributions.  Here are some ideas we have received thus far for continuing our effort:

Create a web store to sell insignia, ball caps, jackets, coffee mugs, or other merchandise.

Charge a small annual membership fee (don't worry charter members.  We won't forget you).  At present there is no membership fee.

bullet

The annual membership would allow access to the association web site bulletin board where one can post messages on the web site and search for other members.  It would also allow discounts on purchases of any merchandise that we decide to sell on the web site.

We already set up a Memorial Web Page and Key Contributors Page.
